Progress to Date

Kennett Township has completed West South Street preliminary engineering for sidewalk and sharrow facilities from the Kennett Borough line to Pennock Park. New Garden has completed initial conceptual plans and cost estimates from Pennock Park to New Garden Shopping Center. Next steps would include final engineering of the West South Street sidewalk. Due to the proximity of sewer facilities, further progress on this project is awaiting resolution of sewer discussions between Kennett Borough and Kennett Township.
